Transferring .EE/.FI domains to us is free of charge.
To transfer a .EE domain, you need a domain authorization code and for .FI domain you need a “välittäjänvaihtoavain” (Registrar authorization key), which you can ask from your current service provider who manages your domain.
Actions step-by-step:
1. Ask your current service provider for a domain authorization code.
2. In the customer area, create an order to transfer a new domain (Create new order -> Add domain -> Transfer (.EE|.FI) domain…)
3. In the created order, click on the “Edit additional data” link
4. Add authorization code for .EE/.FI domain
5. Click “Save” and then start the order by clicking the “To checkout” button.
When transferring international domains, the price of the service is the 1-year domain registration fee. The fee not only includes the transfer, but the domain registration will also be extended by 1 year during the transfer (will be added to the current registration date).
Domain authorization code is required to transfer a domain (EPP code, Authorization Code etc.), which you can ask from your current service provider who manages your domain.
Before transferring the domain, the following must be checked:
– that the domain is not locked or that the domain is not using WHOIS privacy service.
– which e-mail address is the administrative contact e-mail of the domain (a domain transfer notification will be sent to this address for approval).
After placing the order and making payment, you must wait for the transfer confirmation e-mail, which will be sent to the domain administrative contact e-mail address.
Actions step-by-step:
1. Ask your current service provider for a domain authorization code. Also ask to unlock your domain and set your e-mail address as the domain administrator contact e-mail.
2. In the client area, create an order to transfer the domain (Create new order -> Add domain -> Transfer domain for new hosting)
3. In the created order, click on the “Edit additional data” link.
4. Add the domain authorization code and fill in correct domain owner and domain administrator details.
5. Click “Save” and then start the order by clicking the “To checkout” button.
